About English Weddings

The English Way

The "English Way" provides a wonderful solution to those clients who want to get legally married in Switzerland, but also want the ceremony to be as they always imagined it, and not simply in the Town Hall. The "English Way," tokened by Swiss SE, is the most popular option for brides and grooms as they sign the legal documents in the Official Office, and then later have their English Ceremony with guests in attendance, as they always imagined.

The English Ceremony provides the bride and groom with flexibility and the ability to have their ceremony as they are used to - with an aisle to walk down, an officiator, your guests in attendance, the exchange of your vows, rings, and first kiss, and the signing of a marriage certificate.  This ceremony can take place just about any where in Switzerland - a Catholic Church, on a Boat on Lake Geneva, in a Castle overlooking the Alps, or even on a Ski Slope! You name the place, and we will make your wedding happen there!

The English Ceremony is typically held either the same day or the day after the signing of the legal paperwork.
